Cut Cardstock Design Team: Haunted Halloween Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the next stop on the CutCardstock haunted Halloween Hop. I have a clean and simple project that features a candy I always enjoy on Halloween–candy corn! I actually start eating it even before Halloween–I can’t resist, they put it on the store shelves so early LOL!

I’ve had this cute die cut from Papertrey Ink for many years called Candy Corn Collage and I just love the clean lines. I decided to die cut it three times with three different colors of card stock, then glue each piece on top of each other offsetting them a bit.

I used Hot Fudge, Orbit Orange and Light Yellow, all available at the CutCardstock shop.

I attached the die cut piece on to a panel of Cougar Smooth White card stock using thin foam strips from Darice. These thin strips are so handy and great for adhering super narrow die cuts.

I finished the card with a simple sentiment from my favorite sentiment Halloween stamp set from My Favorite Things called Spooky Sentiments (retired). I then, adhered everything to a vertical A2 sized note card I made with Environment Desert Storm card stock.

I added a fun sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s Trick of Treat stamp to the inside.

The less scary the better is what I like for Halloween cards so this definitely fits the bill. Thanks so much for joining me today!
