Patterned Frames

Hi Everyone!

I set aside some creative time today and decided to join in the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge.  Patterned frames was the theme and I decided to do some dry embossing and ink blending for my project.  I started with my well-loved Tipped Tops die set and created a frame with the two largest dies.

I ran the frame through my Big Shot using the Wrought Iron impression plate and then blended 3 shades of Papertrey’s blue inks all around the frame.

I adhered the frame to the front of a white notecard using foam tape and added the birds and leaves from the Songbirds stamp set.  I used two shades of ink in Harvest Gold and Orange Zest to stamp the bird in a little bit of a gradient fashion.  I recently saw a video with Laura Bassen who said this really adds interest to your stamped images and it’s so true!

Such an easy way to add more interest without adding bulk.  Especially with CAS cards.  Thanks so much for joining me today!
